For 30 years, Judy was the sole proprietor of Judy's Hair Company & Day Spa in the Newport, Rhode Island area. Before she ever bought a tube of paint, Judith's artistic talents were utilized creating beauty on clients rather than canvas. Since retiring in 1996, Judy has attended classes at Lyme Academy of Fine Arts, Rhode Island School of Design, Salve Regina University (with Daniel Ludwig), and Newport Art Museum School. Her plein-air sessions of barren barns, crashing seas and local landscapes are where she finds her most exciting and rewarding work. Judy has been awarded numerous honors on her diverse body of work.
